XMLBooster’s documentation generator
Communicating an XML format to a third party is notoriously difficult. Of course, one can use DTD’s and even Schemas, but they are both complex and terse formalisms.
XMLBooster has the ability to generate a comprehensive, extensively cross-referenced documentation, including the structures, where these structures are defined, where they are used, together with user-defined information and indexes. This documentation comes in the form of a number of HTML pages, that can be published conveniently on an intranet or on the Internet.
This output can be tuned to suit company-wide standards, to include specific fonts, colors and logos.
For instance, as XMLbooster uses one of its own generated parsers to parse meta-definitions, the corresponding format is documented here.
