Steve Read

MicrosoftLegacy Modernization Expert

Steve Read currently works at Microsoft as a Global Black Belt. In this position, he helps customers migrate their legacy workloads to Azure. He has been at Microsoft for 24 years in various technical roles, focusing on application and database development. Before joining Microsoft in 1999, he was a developer on both mainframe and UNIX platforms in the banking, healthcare, and government industries.

Larry Mead 

MicrosoftCloud Proessional

Larry Mead was a principal technical program manager in Microsoft Azure Core engineering. Larry has over 45 years of experience developing mission-critical systems, starting with mainframes and mid-range systems, continuing with distributed systems, and now with cloud-based systems. Larry specializes in systems for financial services, but he also has experience with retail, manufacturing, transportation, and government systems. Currently, Larry specializes in how to develop Azure services for mission-critical systems.
